Cut away lower star band and mount stitched witch over batting-covered mat board circle.
Cover other mat circle with cotton fabric. Trim, clip and glue edges to back.
Fuse cotton fabric to back of star band.
Cut stars apart, trace star pattern onto linen, and carefully cut out each star just inside traced lines.
Add stars to ribbon, and glue covered circles together.
Back view after adding gold cording to outside edge of circle.
