Cut out stitched shapes, leaving 1/2-3/4-inch fabric allowance around stitching.
After centering stitched pieces on felt backing, flip over and trim away excess linen so edges are even with backing.
Use light box (or window) to center and trace full basket pattern and butterfly square onto linen. Note stitched corner guidelines around butterfly.
Place double row of filler cording on inner felt handle.
Pin front to back and buttonhole stitch edges together.
