Tape smaller boot pattern to window and then center and tape stitched boot over top to trace boot shape.
After tracing, carefully cut out boot.
Use large boot and owl patterns to trace two of each shape onto black felt.
Stitch through linen and felt layers of boot front. Later, add boot backing, and buttonhole stitch to attach boot front to back.
After stitching and stuffing owl, sew bottom edge to top center front of boot.
Close-up of completed boot back and top.
